SAOS Annual Conference
Capitalising on new opportunities and adapting to a future for farming with less reliance on public funding.
Growing a Farming Future
The SAOS Annual Conference on 22nd January is a cornerstone gathering for Scotland’s rural economy, highlighting how collaboration and innovation can make farming more profitable, competitive, and sustainable. Hosted by SAOS (Scottish Agricultural Organisation Society), the event will focus on the theme: “Growing Our Farming Future.” Bringing together farmer co-operatives, food industry leaders, and agri-tech innovators, the event offers opportunities for co-op members and their supply chain partners to explore:
- Targeting new markets and clients
- Supplying more Scottish produce into local/Scottish markets
- Growing and supplying new, sustainable products
Data innovation is central to building resilient, low-carbon farming systems. Beth Dooley, Head of Partnerships, will be attending the conference, sharing insights on how working together, embracing innovation, and harnessing data can ensure a resilient farming future.
Our Downforce Product
By building on traditional soil measurement methods, we are delivering Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) data that is accurate, scalable and affordable. We’re helping farmers, landowners and supply chain companies to achieve more sustainable and resilient agriculture by:
- Demonstrating the outcomes of regenerative agriculture on soil health through verified SOC measurements
- Identifying high-impact interventions that can drive farmer profitability and improve supply chain resilience
- Providing scaled GHG removals data for Scope 3 reporting at a fraction of traditional costs
Let’s Connect
To explore innovations in agricultural technology, net emissions reduction strategies and soil health optimisation, Beth would love to connect with you. Together, we are accelerating the global transition towards sustainable land management!
