EU Carbon Farming Summit
Shaping the future of European agriculture and accelerating the transition to credible, scalable climate action
Defining Momentum
From 17th –19th March 2026, the European Carbon Farming Summit convenes in Padua, Italy, bringing together policymakers, scientists, business leaders, farmers, and innovators from across Europe to advance the continent’s most ambitious climate and land-use agenda. Now recognised as one of the leading global gatherings on carbon farming and regenerative agriculture, the Summit continues to grow in scale and influence, following successful editions in Valencia and Dublin. Participation has steadily increased—from more than 600 attendees in 2024 to over 1,000 in 2025—reflecting rising political and market demand for land-based climate solutions.
This year’s event focuses on moving carbon farming from pilots to implementation, aligning with the emerging Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming (CRCF) Regulation. It offers a critical space for Europe’s agricultural sector to define the mechanisms, standards, and technologies needed to scale robust climate action.
Downforce at the Summit
Beth Dooley will be joining this year’s Summit to contribute to the growing conversation on how Europe can unlock credible, scalable carbon farming. As the sector moves from experimentation to implementation, Beth will bring Downforce’s perspective on the role of high-resolution soil and ecosystem data in enabling measurable, outcome-based regeneration.
Farmers, landowners, corporates, and policymakers are navigating a rapidly evolving landscape—one shaped by climate pressures, shifting market expectations, and increasing regulatory demands. Downforce’s approach centres on clarity, credibility, and practicality, demonstrating how robust soil intelligence can transform land management and support Europe’s climate goals.
Our Downforce Product
By building on traditional soil measurement methods, Downforce delivers accurate, scalable, and affordable Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) data—a foundational tool for credible carbon farming. We empower farmers, land managers, and supply chain organisations by:
- Demonstrating outcomes of regenerative agriculture on soil health through verified SOC measurements
- Identifying high-impact interventions that improve farmer profitability and supply chain resilience
- Providing scaled GHG removals data for Scope 3 reporting at a fraction of traditional costs
As Europe advances its carbon farming frameworks, these capabilities offer a practical pathway to implement climate-positive practices with confidence.
Let’s Connect
Beth is looking forward to engaging with partners, innovators, and practitioners who are shaping the future of European agriculture. Whether you’re exploring new monitoring technologies, designing carbon farming projects, or seeking clarity on emerging standards, she would welcome the opportunity to connect.
Together, we can accelerate Europe’s transition toward resilient and regenerative land management.
