Innovators by Nature
Showcasing scalable business models at the crossroads of nature, enterprise, and innovation.
Nature, Enterprise and Innovation
Innovators by Nature is a high-level gathering on Wednesday 3rd December, bringing together Europe’s most visionary landowners, investors, policymakers, and environmental entrepreneurs. Organized by European Landowners' Organization (ELO) and Friends of the Countryside in Brussels, the event showcases scalable business models at the crossroads of nature, enterprise, and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to learn and engage in conversations around regenerative agriculture and the transition to sustainable farming methods, accessing premium markets, and ecosystem service payments.
Healthy Agricultural Investment
Agricultural investment begins with soil, our most valuable asset. While water, access, buildings, and equipment all play important roles, none are as critical as the living, breathing micro-biome beneath our feet. Soil is the foundation of everything, yet measuring its true value goes far beyond a few samples, a walk across the land, or reviewing past yields and profitability.
As a sponsor of this year’s event, Peter Moss, CEO, and Beth Dooley, Head of Partnerships, will be showcasing our technology for delivering Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) data. Our platform integrates ground-based data and satellite observations to measure annual SOC levels from 2017 to the present day. By combining scientifically robust data with contextual understanding, we’re delivering actionable insights on the impact of land management practices.
Our partnership with Manulife – one of the world’s largest natural capital investors – is verifying resilience and performance through multi-year droughts. Integrating SOC data with regenerative agriculture property results is empowering Manulife with a deeper understanding of how specific practices – such as cover cropping, reduced tillage, and crop rotation – affect soil health over time.
Our Downforce Platform
By disrupting traditional soil measurement methods with our scalable and affordable approach, we are accelerating the global transition towards sustainable land management. We’re working with farmers, landowners and supply chain companies to:
- Provide data with the highest levels of integrity and accuracy, aligned with leading global standards
- Monitor how SOC levels are changing across the farm every year since 2017 to the present day
- Understand the impact of management on soil (e.g. rotations, tillage), with insights on soil carbon fluctuations across space and through time
Let's Connect
To explore innovations in agricultural technology, net emissions reduction strategies and soil health optimisation, Peter and Beth would love to connect with you. Together, we are accelerating the global transition towards sustainable land management!
