Leading Harvest 2026 North America Summit
Breaking down industry silos and accelerating progress toward a more resilient agricultural system.
Resilient Agricultural Systems
The Leading Harvest 2026 North America Summit brings together Leading Harvest members and strategic supply chain partners for valuable discussions, learning opportunities, and collaboration across the agricultural value chain. Between 3rd – 4th February in Seattle, the summit will focus on collaborative solutions for agricultural resilience, addressing how to keep farmland productive while ensuring a safe, resilient agricultural system. This is a significant opportunity to explore the future of farmland stewardship, climate-smart investment, and the role of verified sustainability standards in shaping a more transparent and accountable global food system.
Natural Capital Reporting
Luke Richards, Head of Product & Business Development (Americas), and Peter Moss, Chief Executive Officer, will be attending the summit, presenting on the benefits of natural capital reporting and the market signals that can’t be ignored. As investors and land managers increasingly recognise ecological performance as a leading indicator of financial resilience, Luke will offer a clear and actionable roadmap for organisations seeking to quantify and manage the ecological assets that underpin agricultural productivity.
Manulife Investment Management
Manulife - one of the world's largest natural capital investors - partnered with Downforce to answer a critical question: Are our regenerative agriculture practices building soil health and resilience at scale? With both row crop and permanent crop properties across the US, Canada and Australia, Manulife was seeking accurate ways to measure, verify and communicate the impact of their sustainable land management practices - to prove that sustainable farming drives real value.
Downforce deployed its US patented and ISO 14064-validated monitoring technology. Our product measured SOC and connected management decisions to measurable outcomes, revealing which practices had the greatest impact and where optimisation opportunities existed.
Our Downforce Product
Our approach to natural capital reporting builds on traditional soil measurement methods, to deliver Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) data that is accurate, scalable and affordable. We’re working with farmers, landowners and supply chain companies to achieve more sustainable and resilient agriculture by:
- Monitoring how SOC levels are changing across the farm every year from 2017 to the present day
- Understanding the impact of management on soil (e.g. rotation, tillage), with insights on soil carbon fluctuations across space and through time
- Providing audit-ready data, delivered with the highest levels of accuracy and aligned with leading global standards
Downforce makes SOC monitoring possible across global portfolios, giving asset managers the evidence they need to demonstrate real value creation.
Let’s Connect
As the sector continues to evolve, the conversations in Seattle will shape how supply chain companies measure, value, and protect the natural systems that sustain us all. To explore innovations in agricultural technology, net emissions reduction strategies and soil health optimisation, Luke would love to connect with you.
Together, we are accelerating sustainable land management and driving farm profitability and resilient agricultural systems.
